Sometimes a pre-made theme doesn’t fit the bill. Sometimes, the needs
of your online presence requires a bit more love and care with a custom look.
Besides, who doesn’t like to be original? I enjoy creating unique designs for my
clients that become exactly what they’ve envisioned and more.
Below, I’ll explain the process.
Custom Design Package
STEP #1: LAYING THE FOUNDATION
In this stage, I’ll ask you about your vision and the core of your brand and purpose.
We’ll also discuss what works and what doesn’t work concerning any pre-existing materials
you might have, such as a site, logo, newsletter design, or other graphics.
STEP #2: INITIAL DESIGN & FIRST REVIEW
Once I reach the point of having the initial design ready, I’ll contact you for a review
to make sure things are headed in the right direction. After your feedback, I’ll continue
working on the new theme for your site until the second review.
STEP #3: SECOND REVIEW AND FINALIZING
The goal of this stage is to receive your final thoughts and make necessary, last tweaks
before your new look is ready to go live on your site! This part is making sure all graphics,
plugins and other desirable features are exactly what they need to be.
STEP #4: MAKING IT LIVE
When the design process is complete, I’ll condense your design from the demo
site into a .zip file. I can then upload it to your site and configure it, making sure
everything is in the right place and working well. And then… we’re finished!
Your beautiful new site is ready to impress, representing you both beautifully and simply.
You must be willing to operate your site with WordPress and the Genesis Framework
if you would like me to design for you. If you already have a website, you will need the capability
from your host to integrate WordPress, which may or may not have an additional cost.
Alternatively, if you do not currently have a paid hosting company, I can set you up with Bluehost,
which allows free integration with WordPress and has low monthly plans 🙂
I personally use them to host all my sites.
I invoice each Friday via Paypal for work completed, no matter what stage of the design
process we’re in. The electronic invoice will appear in your inbox and you can pay
online via credit/debit card. You are welcome to discontinue the project at any point,
but I do not offer refunds, as I still require compensation for my time.
A definite price and timeline are not listed here, as both depend on several factors,
such as individual vs. business and the scope of the project.
